We exclusively propose to our faithful Catawiki buyers this refined decorative fabric characterized by a scenographic Toile de Jouy-inspired 18th-century fantasy, reinterpreted through a rich ornamental landscape with romantic and timeless charm. It depicts a harmonious succession of bucolic scenes and motifs from historic gardens, with elegant female figures in period dresses, ladies with parasols, neoclassical temples and pavilions, peacocks and swans, ornamental vases, small architectural elements, floral compositions, rose boughs and finely illustrated vegetation. The richness of the details creates a very sophisticated narrative and decorative effect, similar to antique engraved prints and wallpapers of the era. The composition presents a continuous and multidirectional motif, with elements distributed evenly across the entire surface. The dense and meticulous graphic stroke gives depth to the design without making it heavy, while the contrast between the delicate background and the more intense tones enhances every detail. Color: Background powder blue / light sugar paper. Drawing: petrol blue, ultramarine blue Details: ivory white This is a fabric made of a cotton blend to ensure durability, it is used for both neoclassical style project realizations and for contemporary environments.
