Crafted from Princes Plate silver-plated nickel silver, each handle features a die-stamped circular crest on the upper front reading PACIFIC STEAM NAVIGATION CO, centered by an anchor and crown. The reverse of the stems are marked with an impressed MAPPIN & WEBB MAPPING PLATE.
