A diverse collection of maritime and ocean liner ephemera dating from 1906 through the 1950s, focused on American shipping lines and naval history. The collection features a 1919 accordion-style souvenir folder for the U.S.S. George Washington, containing black-and-white interior views including the wheel house, soldiers' galley, and operating room. Additional ephemera includes a 1916 Mallory Steamship Company annual pass (No. C697) issued to Mr. F.C. Scudder on cardstock; a blue paper visitor's pass and contribution receipt for the S.S. United States (No. 496611) from the United States Lines Company; and two unused Moore-McCormack Lines first cabin labels. The lot also contains a The New American Ship promotional brochure from United States Lines listing 1924 sailings, along with several postcards.
