0xec6d0 (XX-XXI) - Corps d'été (Mouvement "Le Nouveau Brutalisme") - XXXL

▣ The New Brutalism "In the spirit of Le Corbusier, of architectural brutalism. Here I wanted to impose a clear, violent, powerful reading of space. Worked with a sharp line at times, a slow flat area at others and integrate the raw white of the primed canvas - like the gray of brutalist concrete - through a few large color motifs and strong black lines that traverse them. Keep a minimal work: no color overlay, no writings, no explanations. Just a piece with a few primary colors. Sometimes dark green. But above all leave as much space as possible for white or the solid background of the canvas. Here we keep the core of neo-expressionism, its nervous energy, while removing its superfluity. We seek here the raw expression, the structure, the violence, in a thought-out organization. Accomplished. Ultra minimal. A modern version of Brutalism. More frank, lighter. A kind of dopamine detox from pop art, neo-expressionism, art. A violent Zen garden." — 0xec6d0 ▣ thenewbrutalism.com ▣ Technical Information IMPORTANT - Shipping: the canvas is sent rolled, with insurance - COA paper - Dimension: 160 x 220 cm (150 x 210 cm approx once mounted on a frame)
