Millon & Associés

The auction house Millon & Associés dates from the 19th century.

The management board consists of four associates : Maître Joël M. Millon, Maître Claude Robert, dean of the French auctioneers and former president of the disciplinary board, Maître Alexandre Millon and Monsieur Pélage de Coniac.

Millon & Associés was the first fine art auction house in France to become independant, with Maître Joël M. Millon at the head, honorary president et former president for fourteen years of Drouot, of the Compagnie des Commissaires-Priseurs de Paris and of his Disciplinary Board. Maître Joël M. Millon is Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur and Officer of Arts and Letters.

The auction house Millon & Associés have organised several auctions in Japan (Tokyo), China (Beijing), Russia, Belgium and Switzerland amongst others.

They regularly organise important and high quality sales which appear in the media, such as the following: Château des Celestins, Château de Randan, l'Hôtel de Merode (Bruxelles), Château des Issarts, Succession de La Chapelle (Fragonnard), Succession de Forbin, Succession Cassona, Succession D'Herouville but also the Bernard Buffet sale, the Hebey sale and many more.

Millon & Associés also organise numerous charitable sales to benefit the SPA, the Brigitte Bardot foundation, the Pierre and Marie Curie institute, the Sidaction, the Petits Frères des Pauvres, the Orphelins d’Auteuil and others.
