Oil on canvas
The canvas has an old glue lining and is on the original stretcher. There are some small spots of retouching to the sky in the upper left, visible under ultra-violet light. There is no other evidence of restoration, although there are areas of later glazing around the clouds which fluoresce under ultra-violet light. This work is in very good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although richer and fresher in the original.
