The same Brooklyn artists who last year created a museum dedicated to the phenomenon that is the Olsen twins, have joined forces with Instagram account @PopCultureDiedin2009 to curate the noughties show, which is entitled "Welcome to Nicole Richie's Memorial Day BBQ.''

The exhibit will cast visitors back to the infamous summer party, that ended in Mischa Barton being hospitalized, which became tabloid fodder from the moment the e-vite was leaked.

Artwork by Laura Collins, Artist Derek Covington Smith, Tiny Stitchers, Lila Freeman, Randy G and Natassha Kwb will capture moments from the decade including Lindsay Lohan's run-ins with the law, Naomi Campbell's community service and Britney Spears and Paris Hilton's notorious clubbing days.

The exhibition will run from July 29 to August 11 at The Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan 1994 Museum, 1436 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11216. Flip phones, Ugg boots and Von Dutch hats at the ready.
