Australian street artist Lushsux found his Instagram account deleted after he shared a photo of his latest work: Hilary Clinton scantily dressed in a swimsuit decorated with the American flag.
Lushsux stated that he has shared with his 107 000 followers photos of murals of the same nature which feature Donald Trump, which were not removed from Instagram, suggesting a political bias behind Instagram's decision to delete his account following the Clinton post.
Other celebrities which have had the Lushsux treatment include Melania Trump, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian.
Lushsux has in the past created a mural which features both Trump and Clinton locked in a kiss.
The mural of Clinton, which was unveiled after her formal acceptance as nominated leader for the Democratic party, was originally titled stupid sexy Hilary.
The business who reside in the building the mural has been painted on, have reportedly asked the Maribyrnong Council to remove it.
The street artist has created a new Instagram account, on which he has posted a new photo of the Clinton mural, which features US dollar bills placed in her swimsuit. He has also provactively tagged Kevin Systrom, CEO and co-founder of Instagram: ''@kevin did you donate today.''
Updated on 2/8/2016: The artist made an attempt to 'cover' the image of Hilary Clinton by spraying a niqab over Clinton. Lushsux also added the caption: If this ''Muslim woman offends u, u r a bigot, racist, sexist Islamophobe'' to the updated piece. However, the mural appeared to be completely covered in black paint by Maribyrnong Council.
