On September 21-22, around 700 lots with estimates ranging between $1 000 to $50 000 will go under the gavel both online and at Christie's New York premises. The entire sale is estimated to bring in more than $2 million, with proceeds going to benefit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.

American, English and Chinese furniture which adorned the Ted Graber designed interior will also be part of the auction, which is expected to exceed the $2 million total estimate.

President of Christie's Americas Brook Hazelton explained in a statement: ''Each object offers a 'through-the-keyhole' experience revealing as-yet-untold stories of two of the 20th century’s most celebrated public figures.''
