The artwork featured in the sale at Dorotheum was made by a close colleague or student of Hemling's. Using models of the master, which were combined into a new composition, this way of reusing designs was customary and allowed great artists to create several important commissions at the same time, without compromising on the quality work of the master.

Dorotheum's sale from April 19-21 also feature furniture, sculpture, glass, porcelain, jewellery. The Old Masters section will take place on April 21, 2016.
