NYFW's last day was marked by three iconic designers; Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs. Ralph Lauren representing classic American style always comes on the last day of Fashion Week, his spring collection elegantly dressed women in skinny cargos, khaki shirt gowns and tulle topped of by brightly colored gems, bling-safari-style. Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein's collection was urban chic - belted papyrus white sleeveless dresses, silver metallic embroidery, leather details and magnificent knits. Marc Jacobs show highly contrasted Costa's sophisticated looks, staged at the Park Avenue Armory models - including Kendall Jenner marched on plush carpeting around a Barbie-Pink house wearing military-inspired outfits, slouchy pants, dresses and jumpsuits bejeweled with large ovals in softer tones. A computerized voice piped through Beats by Dr. Dre in stalled at every seat.

The week's events draws a surreal mix of people, industry professionals, editors, photographers, journalists, socialites, celebrities and poseurs, not to mention the hoards of models flown in from the four corners of the world - a front row seat at a runway show is as fervently coveted as a skybox at the U.S. Open!

Other highlights included Diane von Furstenburg's wrap dresses abstracted into cropped wrap tops over full gingham skirts in bright tones. Tommy Hilfiger 1960's inspired pepper jackets, patent trousers, patchwork faded denim and striped Lurex mini-dresses.  And, bountiful graphic prints by Carolina Herrera.
