The report outlines the fastest growing digital platforms in the context of art and auction market, where Barnebys was listed as one of the foremost in their field. The report reads: "Barneby's is worth mentioning due to a very robust digital audience growth, fully in line with our prediction published in the winter report that this brave Swedish start up is on pace to challenge the dominant position of incumbents Invaluable, Live Auctioneers and the-saleroom. Barneby's has perhaps the savviest digital marketing abilities, allowing for robust and sustainable traffic growth over the recent quarters".

Since January, Barnebys has passed the-saleroom in their digital audience. Through the newly released price archive, which shows all the final prices of previous auctions as well as a appraisal service, Barnebys can offer services that the competitors lack. The report continues: "The other threat to listing platforms like ATG (ithe-saleroom.com), Invaluable and Live Auctioneers is called Barneby's. [...] Its auction search results are more complete, as they include leading auctions like Sotheby's and Christie's, since Barneby's lists all auction sites, not just those who pay (as Live Auctioneers and other incumbents do)."

The conclusion? Barnebys is the most noteworthy of actors in the auctions listing space right now and can thus be seen as a strong, existential threat to Live Auctioneers, Invaluable and the-saleroom, especially when heading for the US market as well.
