The television series "Mad Men" has been praised for it's complex characters and riveting story line but also for it's impeccable style. Palm Beach Modern Auctions will give the show a grandiose goodbye with an extensive auction in its honor. The catalogue includes over 500 lots of design items, furniture and art from around the 1950's.

The auction includes furniture from renowned designers such as Karl Springer, Eero Saarinen, Charles & Ray Eames, Charlotte Perriand and Paul Evans. One of the top lots are these matching Philip & Kelvin Laverne Etruscan tables, which have an estimate of $30,000-$40,000.

The design items in the catalogue have managed to capture the very personal nature of the television series. Like the very complex characters, these pieces really stand out, for instance this rare Giulio Radi Vase that has an estimate of $10,000 – $12,000.

The lavish lifestyles of the show is truly reflected in the luxury goods that Palm Beach Modern Auctions offer bidders. The designers that are represented include Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Judith Leiber and Yves St. Laurent.

The auction also features a great deal of fantastic artwork, including works by Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Paul Jenkins and Andy Warhol. One of the top art lots is the magnificent Soft Turquoise by Richard Anuszkiewics. The painting has an estimate of $25,000-$35,000.

Palm Beach Modern Auctions' Modern Design, Art, & Luxury Accessories sale will be held at noon on April 11, bidders can participate live both in person and online.
