The top lot in the sale is Edouard Manet's Le Printemps, estimated at $25M - $35M. The painting depicts actress Jeanne Demarsy dressed as spring, displaying Manet's reverence for femininity and fashion. The painting appeared in Parisian Salon in 1882, just one year before Manet passed away.

Another one of the sale's key pieces is Fernand Léger's Les constructeurs avec arbre, estimated at $16M - $22M. The painting is from Léger's Constructors series, which was his homage to the workingman. Portraying four men working on the frame of a building, some believe that the man in the bottom left corner is Léger himself.
