Stone began his career studying at London's Camberwell College of Arts where he was part of a movement in art squatting in the south of the city as well as being part of the !WOWOW! group which held exhibitions in unused commercial properties.

Stone's works focus on representing notions of intimacy and the human experience through images which make abstractions of the body. His subjects performative body language and rawness perfectly marries with FKA twigs' performances, in which she features contemporary dance, art and even contortionist performers.

Stone's work has been at Performa and Art Basel, The Hole, Manhattan and Tate Britain.
