Julien's Auctions Icons & Idols Rock'n'Roll sale closed yesterday, ending on a total of $3.2 M.

The auction included over 700 lots from various celebrities, including 100 lots from Madonna's personal life and career, as well as a large amount of items previously belonging to Nancy and Ann Wilson, Naomi Judd and Michael Jackson. The top lot of the auction was the jacked that Madonna wore in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan, which sold for $257,000. An earring from the same film sold for $34,375.

One of the most notable lots was Madonna's wedding gown that she wore when we married Sean Penn in 1985. The lot had en estimate of $40,000 - $60,000 and ended up selling for $81,250. Marlene Stewart, who designed many costumes and outfits for Madonna, designed the dress and Di Fabrizio designed the shoes.
