Perhaps no show's costumes design was as skilfully crafted as NBC's Hannibal, for which Christopher Hadogen was behind the wardrobe. Luxurious three-piece suits not only encapsulate the eccentricity of Hannibal, played hauntingly by Mads Mikkelsen, but also his psychological state.

Paisley ties in Windsor knots, plaid and velvet suits, draw attention to the fact that not only is he a serial killer, he is an audacious one at that. Suits in the show were designed by Garrison Bespoke, of Toronto, and aid the narrative in exploring the motivations of this deceptive character.
