Protestors around the world marched in solidarity against the election of President Trump. One of the most significant aspects of the march on women's rights was the wealth of witty and colorful signs protestors had made.

And now, to honour the creativity of marchers, the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. and London's Bishopsgate Institute are amongst the institutes calling out for arty protestors to donate their signs in order to preserve them.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History has been collecting paraphernalia from the 2016 US presidential campaign. Signs were left by protestors post-march at the White House and at Trump Tower in New York.

Whilst across the Atlantic, the plethora of placards will be placed in the Bishopsgate Institute's archive of radical history and activism, which dates back to the 1800s.
