It was previously sold back at Christie's in 2007, where it reached £4 500 000 ($8 824 500.)

Other highlights include Chagall's Les mariés de la Tour Eiffel which is estimated at £4.8 million–£6.8 million($6.9 million–$9.8 million), Fernand Léger's Le moteur, which has an estimate of £4 million–£6 million ($5.7–$8.6 million) and Picasso's 1937 still life Painted on the eve of Guernica which is estimated to fetch £4.5 million–£6.5 million ($6.5–$9.3 million.) The sale has a combined estimate of £87.3 million–£129.1 million ($125.8 million–$186.1 million.)
