Beautiful historical pieces and 19th century paintings, contemporary art, prints, sculptures, books, manuscripts, maps, watches and jewelry, furniture and decorative arts, oriental rugs, sculptures, fashion items, fans and wines will be going under the gavel. The extensive collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco features a selection from a magnificent Spanish private collection. There will also be a small group of lots that belonged to the Marquesa of the Court which bear witness to his close friendship with the Royal Family.

Works by Maruja Mallo, the great Spanish Surrealist and Orchestra Zagora as well as pieces by Moroccan artist Mériem Mezian.

To the superb selection of glassware, silver and silver metal, bronze, ceramics and furniture that come from private collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Among the lots to highlight is a beautiful vase in smoked glass bending glass made in Sevres from the 19th century (lot 809) and a Legras vase in a fascinating tone called "Green Nile" with golden leaves and acorns decoration.

Also amongst the Art Deco and Art Nouveau pieces are a terracotta Georges Coudray entitled Les Nénuphars (lot 924); an extensive collection of twenty buckles Art Nouveau and Art Deco silver metal and silver, made by almost all major European architects (lot 994); an elegant pair of lamps Art Deco-column (lot 990); a beautiful French Art Deco cabinet made in the twenties (lot 992); a slender French style table Jules Leleu made in the 30s (Lot 998) and a pair of bedside tables made in walnut, whose front shows a nice feathering (lot 1002).

Elsewhere in the sale there is  a wonderful collection of fans from the 18th and 19th centuries (lots 708-728), an interesting set of letters sent by different members of the Spanish Royal Family Dolores Pizarro, Marquesa Court (lot 1006.)
