On December 2, the auctions kick off with photography, followed by Modern art. The next day, on 3rd December, Contemporary art hits the saleroom, followed by a stopover in the Far East as the Asian art auctions take place on December 8 and 9, which features the first part of the Günter Heil collection with Indian small bronzes.

The previews of the Asian art auction will take place from the December 3 to the 7 at Lempertz in Cologne Neumarkt. The works featured in the auctions taking place prior to this will be exhibited until December 1.

Several works by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner are set to feature. Included here are the two with the highest estimate. The girl in the south-west was painted by Kirchner during a stay on the Ostseeinsel Fehmarn in 1912. His model was the dancer Erna Schilling, whom he had met shortly before she sat for him. The two remained great friends until his death. Houses in the snow was one of the first Kirchner painted in his home town Frauenkirch, Switzerland, after World War I.
