On September 1 and 2, 1 000 lots will be online for bidding, with the majority of Wednesday's offerings from the finely curated collection of Philadelphia's Dehoogh Gallery. The gallery, once located on Pine Street, was a true cabinet of curiosities and was known for the high quality of its objects, their diversity, and the scholarly inclinations of owners Eric DeHoogh and Robert Lindsley. The remainder of this rare collection on sale at Pook & Pook is strong in ethnographic art, along with European porcelain, furniture, glass, and a wealth of other decorative items.
