He accessed Bush's and several other American and European leaders email accounts by answering questions like: "What is your mothers middle name?" "What was the name of your first pet?" "What is your favourite color?" By surveilling these accounts Guccifer could month by month track Bush's painterly progress as he painted portraits of his friends pets, world-leaders and the occassional self-portrait.

Marcel Lazar Lehel, a.k.a Guccifer, a former taxi-driver, was arrested in January in Bucharest and will spend seven years in prison, he was on three-year parole according to NBC news.

One can hope that Bush and the politicians that Guccifer managed to hack had more interesting and valuable correspondance in their accounts, unlike the likes of Julian Assange and Edward Snowden Lezel did not choose to uncover political injustices or state-secrets. Seven years to ponder this wasted oppurtunity awaits him.
