The sale on February 25 features artists such as Anish Kapoor, Jeff Koons, Bert Stern, LeRoy Neiman, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Mel Ramos and more.

Photography of Monroe in the sale from Bert Stern's iconic The Last Sitting shoot is set to be a top lot of the sale. Monroe, who this year would have celebrated her 90th birthday, sat for Stern over three daily sessions, just six weeks before she died.

The photographs were commissioned by Vogue magazine in late June 1962. Last year, a collection of photographs from The Last Sitting sold at Heritage Auctions for $137 519 against a combined estimate of $80 000. Stern's Marilyn Monroe: The Last Sitting Portfolio 2, Color Photograph, has an estimate of $12 000 - $15 000, with the market for this collection of photograps strong, it could raise a lot more than expected.
