Art and Antiques with the Collected works of Gerald Ososki on July 23-24 at Chormleys, London.

Gerald Ososki (1903-1981), who studied at the Royal College of Art, London along the likes of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Edward Burra was a British painter of detailed landscapes and representations of city and country-life, such as fair grounds. The sale, which features 100 of his water color and oil works is an excellent opportunity to buy, Ososki is rarely found at auction, for example a fairground scene at Vale of Heath was available at £2,900 at a recent gallery sale by comparison the fairground scene at Hampstead Heath, included in the sale is estimated between £400 and £600.

There are also several other interesting pieces included in the sale such as a spray painted eight-door panel inspired by Jean Paul Gaulthier's sailor boys by Nick Walker (British b.1969) estimated at £20000-£30000.
