Artnet reports that this year the iconic statue might don two gigantic bow ties for Halloween. Nick Graham, founder of Joe Boxer, has planned this stunt as part of an ad campaign for his new line of menswear.

The bowties are reportedly 60-foot-by-30-foot and weigh 35 pounds. In order to place them, they will be lowered down by two helicopters hovering above the statue.

This event is said to take place on tomorrow at 8:00 a.m, EST. However, whether or not this will actually happen is unclear. Graham does not seem to have applied for any permits so it is unclear whether the city of New York will allow for this to happen.
