The piece was once owned by an important family of Belgian industrialists from the 20th century, it was bequeathed to the charity La Lumière, a royal Belgian organization which supports the visually impaired. On December 14, Hôtel des Ventes Mosan will sell this piece on behalf of the charity.

The Art Deco piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant and dates back to the 1930s and is thought to have been made in France.

The piece is set with brilliant cut diamonds and a superb central emerald weighing about 18 carats. The emerald is accompanied by a SSEF certificate from the Swiss Institute of Gemmology indicating that the stone has a Colombian provenance.

Daum and Gallé, the finest names in glassware will feature. A stand out piece is this mushroom lamp made in 1910 by Daum. The foot is engraved with stylized floral motifs whilst the shade features landscapes, typical of the Art Nouveau style.
