The work, which at first looks like beautiful silk wallpaper, on closer inspection is adorned with taxidermy bugs and insects. It is part of a celebration entitled WONDER which marks the reopening of the Renwick Gallery, which is due to open November 10. Angus is one of nine artists who are creating pieces which dramatically transform the gallery's interior.

Angus' incredible work features 5 000 insects from Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. The work highlights the important role insects play in the ecosystem, with the skull feature in the work a metaphor for the doomsday clock, highlighting how it is now more important than ever to save the environment.
