Gianguan Auctions was originally established in Hong Kong, but their New York branch opened soon after. The US office will be holding an exciting Asia Week Sale on March 22, featuring over 300 lots of artwork, ceramics and bronze pieces from different time periods.

Among the top lots bidders will find several gilt-bronze castings of Buddhist gods, such as a rare depiction of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from Tibet. The sale also includes the god's female counterpart Tara.

The auction also includes many cloisonné pieces such as these vases. It is rare to find them as a pair, these beautifully detailed vases are decorated with an image of a dragon in a sea of flowers and waves.

The paintings in the sale cover a wide range of time and style. This self-portrait by the Ming Dynasty Emperor Xuande was executed in 1402.

The sale also includes contemporary pieces, such as the scroll Ink Lotus by H. H. Dorje Chang III. The incredible piece includes a poem which translates to ""An utter chaos strewn with broken strokes: a peculiar sight, yet wondrously endowed with a soul-soothing charm". The sale also features modernist paintings such as Noble Steed by Xu Beihong.
