Watches & Fine Time Pieces Signature Auction at Heritage Auctions, November 20

Barnebys recently spoke with Heritage Auction's president Greg Rohan, where we not only learnt more about the house's history but we were also treated to some highlights from some of this week's auctions! Read about their Comic Art, Tiffany, Lalique & Art Glass, and Vintage Movie Poster auctions here! However, as this is the third largest house in the world, Heritage has even more auctions that grab our attention! Thursday's Watches & Fine Timepiece Signature Auction includes many rare and important pieces, such as the extremely rare and unusual Rolex ref 6062. The Rolex was made for the renowned watchmakers 70th anniversary, and is one of the few models where the luminous dots are positioned outside of the stars instead of within them.

The items in the sale do not only demonstrate Bunny Mellon's exquisite taste, but there is also the personal and intimate element that reflects the care that went into selecting each piece.
