These masterpiece are extremely popular and highly sought after by collectors. In 2011, at Christie's in New York, number 201 of the series sold for $32 500 against a pre-sale estimate of $12 000-18 000. Discover more realized prices for Dalí's Dix Recettes d'Immortalité suitcase here.

Dalí truly was the Maestro of Motifs: melting clocks, long-limbed beasts and lobsters, he created fascinating subjects from the realms of his dreams. The beautiful briefcase is presented in gold and pink, with an unmistakably Dalí-esque font emblazoned across it. In homage to one of his many recurring motifs, the case features a silvered metal telephone receiver handle.

Today, one of Dalí's Dix Recettes d'Immortalité is part of the blockbuster Dalí/Duchamp at the Royal Academy of Art, London.
