Richards and Jagger created the piece at a Halloween party whilst they were in San Franciso whilst on their iconic Voodoo Lounge tour.

The tour was the first without bassist Bill Wyman, who was replaced by Darryl Jones. It was was the highest grossing tour of any artist at the time as it grossed a staggering $320 million.

Sullivan is selling the work through her new New Jersey gallery in Lambertville. Rock and Roll Voodoo, 1995, is part of Sullivan's "FingerSmears" series which also features works made with Bruce Springsteen and Harrison Ford.
