Market Art + Design returns July 5 - 8, 2018 for one of the year’s vastest art fairs, focusing on modern and contemporary art and design. Located in the heart of the Hamptons, the fair showcases important artworks set in this beautiful summer retreat.

This international fair features galleries and dealers from around the world, representing cities like New York, Tel Aviv, Paris, Seoul, and Amsterdam. This year's Market Art + Design features around 20 new galleries added to the show, with exhibitors as Les Ateliers Courbet (New York), Jean Albano Gallery (Chicago), Gallery Bom (Boston) and Maddox Gallery (London).

Among the American galleries, you’ll find New York’s Adelson Galleries. Adelson focuses on American painting and has been one of the country's leading art galleries for over 40 years. For this year’s Market Art + Design, Adelson Galleries exhibits contemporary works by Jamie Wyeth, Eric Fischl, Federico Uribe, and Magdalena Murua. Colombian born Federico Uribe will be represented with two works, “Portrait (Blue Hair)” and ”Landscape” both from 2016. “Landscape”, a very special piece, is entirely created out of coins.

Among the international exhibitors are the London based Maddox Gallery which will include works by street artist Thierry Guetta, also known as Mr. Brainwash. Since Thierry Guetta created the cover for Madonna’s album “Celebration” in 2009, his popularity skyrocketed. At this year's fair visitors will be able to see the works “Exhibition” and “Saturday in Paris”.

Returning galleries like Contempop (New York, Tel Aviv) will put up just as great shows as they have been doing previous years. Contempop spotlights contemporary Israeli artists as well as international ones and presents works from different fields such as photography, sculpture and painting.

For this year's edition Contempop exhibits the works by Adi Gershon, Bob Tabor, Klaus Leidorf, Natan Elkanovich and Mary Jo McGonagle.

Returning gallery Vertu Fine Art is based in Boca Raton, and has a special treat for the visitors of 2018. Among works by Alex Katz and Donald Sultan the gallery will also feature a Roy Lichtenstein piece, the painting “Reflections on Expressionist Painting - (Corlett 256)” from 1990. Liechtenstein’s comic inspired artwork continues to fascinate the world 20 years after his death.

Market Art + Design will be held July 5-8 in the town of Bridgehampton.
