This set of chests of drawers, manufactured in the 18th century, is a true masterpiece of Venetian furniture. Each panel is elaborately decorated on three sides with exotic landscapes detailed with people, animals and plants.

On the same day, Cambi Casa d'Aste's Old Masters sale will take place with 271 lots including the works of Italian and European artists from the 14th to the 19th century will be up for bidding.

Venetian master Giovanni Antonio's Canal, called Canaletto is an example of one of the artist's many representation of his Venetian hometown.

Pietro Longhi, another Venetian master, although is known for his representations of Venetian life, is known for depictions of his most famous sitter, Clara, a rhinoceros.
