Pierre Jeanneret (1896-1967) Switzerland

Pierre Jeannaret was a swiss architect based, cousin to Charles Edouard Jeanneret more known as Le Corbusier. They worked in close collaboration for about twenty years. Together they created the city plans for Chandigarh, India, the capital of Punjab and became Pierre Jeannaret home for 15 years. Like his cousin Pierre Jeannaret also designed furniture and his most known pieces are the ”Easy chair”, ”Chandigarh” a series of tables and chairs and ”Scissor Lounge Chair” ”Model 92” for Knoll.
