Charlotte Gyllenhammar (1963-) Sweden

Charlotte Gyllenhammar was born in 1963 and grew up outside of Gothenburg. She studied at the Royal College of Art in London and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
As an artist, she has worked primarily with painting and sculpture, as well as with video installations. Famous works include Raul Wallenberg memorial in Gothenburg and the upside down tree Dö för dig (Die for You), which hangs above the street Drottninggatan in Stockholm. For a brief period she was a professor at the Malmö Art Academy.
