Robert Delaunay (1885-1941) France

Robert Delaunay was a French artist who, together with his wife Sonia Delaunay-Terk, achieved fame for establishing the art movement Orphism. The Orphism movement combined the geometrical shapes of Cubism with the colourful palette of Fauvism. Some of Delaunay's most famous works are his studies of his home town Paris and the Eiffel tower.
