The Roseville Pottery company introduced the Victorian Art Pottery line in 1925. This line has an art nouveau influence and often bears a stylized band of birds and leaves. The glazes are in dull brown, gray, tan, and black. Very few of the pieces produced have vivid colors. Pieces are usually unmarked or have and Rv ink stamp or foil label. This vase is a fine example of this line in a gray blue glaze. Wonderful color on the stylized band. This is a large floor vase suitable to display near any fireplace. Displays exceptionally well from all angles. Perfect decorator piece. Exceptional vase in that it has no cracks, no chips, no scratches to glaze. I cannot detect any underglaze crazing on this outstanding vase. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.Dimensions are below. Authentic Roseville Pottery and appropriately marked with stamp. All pictures are original and un-edited. H: 10 1/4", Base: 4 1/8", Rim: 4 1/2"
