Originally a potter, expanding to textiles, and eventually a full line of furniture and accessories and 30 stores, designer Jonathan Adler combines vintage and modern influences in his products and interiors, his aim being to create a foundation of timelessly chic furniture and accessorizing with abandon. Jonathan Adler rugs are handmade in Peru by expert weavers and every step, from hand-dyeing the wool to hand-weaving the pattern on the loom, is done using traditional methods with our own proprietary twist, creating rugs that are reversible to a contrasting pattern. Sourced from llamas raised at high altitudes in the Andes, the wool is extremely soft, extra stain-resistant, and decidedly durable. Simple patterns, such as the Nixon, let the inherently impeccable aspects of the craft speak for themselves. A luxe artisanal tradition becomes fresh by combining modern patterns with indigenous practices. The end product has a dynamic sizzle that you can’t help but walk all over.
