intact and hard to find all original early 1920's original antique american industrial cast iron and douglas fir wood freestanding heavy duty factory pipe rack likely fabricated in part by the e.a. bambach mfg. co., chicago, il. the h-shaped base is reinforced on both sides by t-shaped surface mount cast iron plates bolted tightly into place. the upright posts contain several matching large cast iron channeled brackets for supporting and storing large lengths of metal pipe. the posts are reinforced with multiple solid steel stretcher rods for added rigidity. the original painted finish with surface wear is consistent with age. measures 19 1/2 x 26 1/2 x 65 1/2 inches.
