French Bronze-Mounted Porcelain Revolving Urn

ca. 1900, in the Sevres taste, the ogee cover with a pineapple knop, the body with raised gilt scrollwork on a cream-colored ground, the obverse decorated with an allegorical depiction of art in the form of a sculptor with a bust of a court figure, the panel signed "Guillemain", the reverse with an impressionistic mauve-tinted landscape, the sides set with acanthus-molded ring handles, on a matching gilt-bronze base.
