Catman Comics (Holyoke May 41-May 44) #16

About the item

Rated a Gerber "7" or "scarce", this is among the toughest issues in the  run, and is only the third copy we have ever offered, and it's the first copy we've seen in more than 15 years! It has a great Charles Quinlan World War II cover, featuring the book's heroes, promoting bond sales by smashing a swastika surrounded by the Axis leaders, Hitler, Tojo, Mussolini, and Goering. Quinlan and Sol Brodsky art. Bears the "CVA Exceptional" sticker indicating outstanding eye appeal for the grade. Overstreet 2018 GD 2.0 value = $700; VG 4.0 value = $1,400. CGC census 7/19: 3 in 3.0, 4 higher.HID07601242017
