Very Fine Pair of Japanese Bronze Figures by Miyao Eisuke, Meiji period (1868-1912). One standing wearing full armour, the other beating a drum, their coats finely carved with ho-o and dragons, with wood stands decorated with gold lacquer ho-o and foliate scrolls. Extremely fine quality and condition. Each signed Miyao in a rectangular reserve. Taller figure is 9″ high with base x 4.5″ wide.
