LORD'S MIRACLE OF TODAY, by Rev. S. N. SHANLIAN (Sanadroog N. Shanlian). An Autobiography by the noted ARMENIAN EVANGELICAL PREACHER. Rare autobiography / religious tract by an Armenian evangelical evangelist, Sanadroog N. Shanlian (born 1885 in Zeitoon). Tells of revival meetings in Armenia and Turkey in the early 1900s, his escape from the Armenian genocide to America. S. N. Shanlian helped found the Armenian Evangelical Brethren Church in the United States. Published by Groong Publishing Co., Philadelphia and New York, 1928. First English Edition (first published in Armenian in 1926). Wrappers / Softcovers, 5x7 inches, 126 pages plus an errata page. FAIR condition: Ex Central Bible College Pearlman Memorial Library, with associated stamps and labels on the covers, endpapers, prelim pages, stamped on the page edges, and here and there in the margins of the text. Ex-library aside, the covers have toning at the margins, are toned at the spine and are worn at the spine ends; the spine covering is creased and rubbed; there is a closed tear to the leaf consisting of pages 95/96 that has been repaired with clear tape; there is a bb size hole to the first page that leaves an indent on the next few pages (as if from a poke of a closed pen); on two facing pages there is a paragraph with a blue line beside it, a couple lined out sentences, and a small strip of paper with typing on it that has been glued onto the bottom of a page to replace the text beneath it, possibly all by the author; still a solid, complete copy with printing that is bright and clear. RARE, this is the only copy I have or have ever seen.
