Presented is a rare antique Bozo the Clown drummer wind-up tin lithograph toy. It was made by T.K. Toys in Japan. This rare vintage mechanical wind up toy works but the drums are a lower than normal. When wound with a key he plays the drums and sways from side to side. It measures approximately 8″ tall. The color and paint show some storage/aging wear.
In 1785, King Louis XVI appointed Jean Francois la Perouse to lead a world expedition that, hopefully, would supplement, and ultimately complete, the voyages begun by James Cook years earlier.
