Silver Towne Auctions specialises in rare and collectible coins from around the world, as well as medals, medallions and bullion. It was founded by Leon Hendrickson in 1949, and has grown from humble beginnings to be one of the USA's largest and most respected dealers of rare coins, modern coins and precious metals.

Silver Towne Auctions is now a multi-million dollar business, and hosts four retail departments in its showrooms in historical Winchester, Indiana. They also deal with collectors and enthusiasts from across the USA and further afield via their catalogs and online sales.
Their auctioneers are members of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and American Numismatic Association (ANA), and Silver Towne Auctions is a Certified Coin Exchange Dealer.
