Remmey Appraisals

Carolyn Remmey founded Remmey Galleries in 1988. She brought her knowledge of valuation and auctions, which she had gathered by operating at NYU, Newark Museum and Winterthur, in to the business.

Carolyn Remmey is also a member of the Appraisers Association of America and is a frequent guest as an appraiser in the PBS series Antiques Roadshow.

Remmey Appraisals handles thorough and comprehensive assessments of estate taxes, equitable distribution, and insurance purposes. They have on several occasions been entrusted to contribute with their valuation services for many famous New York-based, as well as national, property and estate liquidations. They also refer to international auction houses such as Sotheby's, from where Carolyn Remmey has associates experience.
