'Happy Birthday Mr/Mrs President' That iconic Monroe dress hits auction block
The date is Saturday, May 19, 1962, it's the Democratic fundraiser at Madison Square Garden and President John F. Kennedy is nearing his 45th birthday. Out steps a sultry Monroe, wearing a white ermine fur coat which she removes to reveal a skintight, sheer, flesh-colored dress. The design by Jean Louis featured over 2 500 hand stitched crystals and became one of the most iconic garments in entertainment and political history.

Key Collins is an artist who calls both Austin and Houston, Texas home. His background is in graphic design, which led him to producing one-of-a-kind guitars for such notable artists as Clint Black, White Zombie, ZZ Top, Slaughter, and the Kentucky Headhunters. An assortment of letters and photographs signed by European royal figures, including a signed color photograph of Sarah, Duchess of York, dated "2001" and inscribed "with my love to you dear Danny"; an illegibly signed color photograph of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco; two signed color photographs of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, inscribed to Danny; and a handwritten and signed letter from Prince Albert II, dated "March 28th," reading in part, "I thank you for including me even for a short time into Danny's life."
