Original Botanical Watercolor By Lyn Noble: 'Rhododendron Albrectii' Signed and Dated in Pencil L. Noble '93. -- About the Artist: Lyn Noble is an established Canadian Botanical Artist who paints primarily North American wildflowers. She works in watercolour to best capture the beauty, brilliance, and often fragility of these lovely plants in flower and fruit . She is a graduate of Vancouver School of Art and the University of Toronto. Lyn teaches Botanical Illustration at the Botanical Gardens, University of British Columbia. Her work has been extensively reproduced as prints and greeting cards. Lyn's work is included in many collections such as the Botanical Garden of Hokkaido, Japan and she has exhibited widely, including: 'Cloud Flowers' - Rhododendrons East and West at the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden; One-Person Show: Strybing Arboretum , San Francisco, CA.; 'Watercolours West' Exhibitions, Van Dusen Gardens, Vancouver, B.C. and the Third Annual ASBA International Juried Exhibition at the NY Horticultural Society. Lyn has received a Grenfell Medal, a Silver Gilt Medal, and a Silver Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society, London, England. Her work was included in the award-winning book Plantae Occidentalis - 200 Years of Botanical Art in B.C. The Mumbling Muse
